The Medicine Buddha is considered the master healer. In the left hand the Buddha is holding a pot of Amrita, the nectar of immortality. In the pot and by His left hand, is the Myrobalan plant, which is often referred to as the Greatest Herb for its healing properties. On this plant is the Haritaki fruit, which is one of the three herbs in the classical Ayurvedic preparation, Triphala (three fruits). Stands 10” high.
