This publication- Eenie’s Tree Travels - is a very special endeavour as I discussed it at length with my late Mother Daisy, who was always amazed at the the magic and mystery of trees. She loved the woods and forests - and she loved this rhyme! Although she did not see all of the gorgeous illustrations that Rafael has done, she certainly inspired them - and her ongoing love and spirit persist throughout. The example of trees - their strength, generosity and beauty - can remind us of our close connection with nature and with all of the five elements - earth, wind, fire, water and air. In turn we can enjoy nature‘s lovely sounds and create our own music, poetry and rhyme.
