Om Namah Shivaya! This year there are two Shravan months rather than one; this last occurred 19 years ago so this is a very special extended time to worship Lord Shiva. Nag Panchami, worship of the serpents, is also celebrated during Shravan Mas. Sri Svamiji begins with a meditation on Sheshnag, the serpent who served Vishnu, and Vasuki, the serpent who served Shiva. He then continues with a guided meditation walk along the Ganga to a temple where an abishekam and puja is offered to the Shiva lingam, followed by intention setting to dedicate oneself to the spiritual cause. ParaNadam closes with Jaya Shiva Omkara and Arati.
